Ienzo laughed. "I don't know about you but I'm more a fruit guy."

"Hunting would be more fun, I would rather work for my food."

"You and your work!" Ienzo snarled. "You know there is something known as free food. Now lets go find something edible, I can analyse the strange plants to see what we can eat or you can go find some fish in a nearby river. I'm sure Midnight will be happy to cook it, if not I will."

"Whatever, just..." he gave up. "You lead the way."

Midnight raised an eyebrow, "If you sure...but be warned I'm not too good at this" She shook head, this really wasn't her forte. She closed her eyes and muttered some words under her breath. A bright light appeared and grew brighter as she summoned it, until it was blinding and all of a sudden the light vanished to reveal a double cheese burger hovering in front of her. She grinned "I did..." She paused, she could of sworn the burger just frowned at her, but burger's can't frown she must be imagining things. Without warning, the burger started firing cheese and tomato ketchup at them. She ducked and shouted, "I warned you. Ienzo, I'm cooking that fish."

Yoh laughed , "Well , keep practising , you'll get it eventually " He walked over to Midnight , "fish sounds great"

Ienzo laughed. "Out of all the things I thought would be dangerous, a double cheese burger wasn't one of them."

Toshiro smiled, which was rare for him. "Yes, fish. Hopefully the river I froze not to long ago has defrosted." He started walking toward it, when he reached it the ice had disappeared. He got out his sword, "Sorry Hyorinmaru, I know this isn't what you'd normally do." He looked out for fish and then swiftly caught them with his zanpakto.

Ienzo watched Toshiro catch fish like he did it all his life. "You do this thing often?"

Toshiro shook his head, "I've never needed to."

"I heard some people call you a boy genius, and now I see it."

Toshiro ignored the comment and carried on catching fish for them.

Midnight, after dealing with the monster cheese burger, watched him fish impressed.

"You should do that more often Toshiro." Ienzo laughed.

Toshiro turned sharply. "Call me CAPTAIN Hitsugaya!" He yelled infuriated.

"Woah, you don't need a name for people to respect you."

Toshiro just ignored him and carried on fishing. After a while he'd caught enough for them all. "Alright, do what you want with them." He dropped them on the ground.

"We need to gut them, you know take all their insides out and since I assume you don't want them raw. I suggest we make a fire to cook them on." Midnight answered, working out how to cook them.

"Yeah good idea. I say you and Yoh gut them and we cook them." He smiled.

"Hm, taking the lazy option I see." He grabbed a fish and began gutting it with his sword, not the easiest thing to do.

"Would you like to build the fire Midnight? It'll be good practice... well, at least some practice."

Midnight shrugged "Sure, why not?" She said, as she watched Toshiro with much amusement.

"There you go. With a fresh pile of fish insides." He glanced at the pile beside him. "Lovely."

"Ahh lighten up Toshiro."

He jolted at the sound of his name, "That's-" He decided not to tell them to call him Captain, he was bored of saying it. "Never mind."

"This will be the best fish you've ever eaten!" Ienzo laughed handing the dead, gutted fish to Midnight.

Yoh had wandered off into the forest , he came back a few minutes later and his stomach growled loudly , amidamaru appeared and said
"Yoh-dono , you must be starving!"
Yoh smiled "Yeah , i am "
Yoh looked at the pile of wood and grinned he unsheethed his sword and scraped the tip of the blade on the ground near the wood , sparks hit the wood and it created a fire

They cooked the fish on the fire Yoh had created. "I've never eaten this way before, it sure is interesting."

"You should try living in Rukongai most your life, living in poverty really makes you thankful for the food we now get."

"I can imagine, you probably never got this sort of food." Ienzo laughed taking a bite of fish. "Nice, I really want some sort of fruit with this, excuse me." Ienzo got up and started searching for some form of edible berries. He came back a bit later with a hug leaf full of edible fruits. "Dig in everyone."

Yoh took a bite from his fish "ahh...thank goodness for your fishing skills Toshiro" he laughed , but then his expression turned serious "you had met Hao earlier , what did he do?"

Mindight laughed as she ate her meal, "With pleasure, this worked out better than I expected and yeah please tell"

Yoh looked down for a moment "I'm surprised you're even alive after you met him"

Midnight frowned, "What do you mean? Why wouldn't we be?" She did not understand what Yoh was saying, had they been in danger they did not know about?

Yoh raised his head "Hao wants to destroy the weak people and humans , he stole the King of spirits , but i destroyed the spirit of fire so the King of spirits could escape " Yoh sighed "Hao is still out there , if he gets the King of spirits , then no one would survive , it'd be a shaman version of the holocaust"

Midnight rubbed her neck in thought, "Seriously?! He seemed nice enough to me, he helped us." She shook her head in disbelief, "I really wouldn't have put him down for the wanting to destroy the world type"

Yoh sighed "Yeah , he wants to destroy humans and save the earth from destruction "

Ienzo looked at him blankly. "Well, I would never have guessed. He seemed quite nice and he was extremely powerful you're right. I knew he had some trouble with the soul society but that was it."

"Yes, the soul society tried to destroy him but failed, well I don't think he currently has anything to do with what's happening here, if he does then fighting along side us was a smart way of hiding his plans."

"Well, I hope I don't have to face him on the battlefield, I assume you do though Yoh?" Ienzo took a bite out of some of the fruit and munched with contentment.

Yoh laughed "i allready beat him , once , " yoh sighed "but he won't stop , he'll just keep trying" yoh chewed on his fish

"Well, I'll happily help you if you ever need it." Ienzo lay down. "I could sleep right now."

"If you fall asleep, I'll draw on you." Toshiro said somewhat seriously.

"Huh? That's not something you'd say." Ienzo tilted his head upward to look at the soul reaper.

"You told me to be more laid back, so I am." He smiled.

Midnight laughed, glad to see Toshiro loosen up. "I'll help, when you wake up you'll be covered in stars and whatever Toshiro likes to draw"

Ienzo laughed. "That would be interesting. As long as you don't dye my hair I'll be fine."

Toshiro smiled and glanced at midnight as if to say If he falls asleep, lets dye his hair.

Midnight laughed, "Okay" She caught Toshiro's glance with a smile, having the exact same thought. He'd brought that one on himself.
